It may smell, but it sure makes for a dramatic image.
'Magnificent Magnolia'
I had to walk all of 10 metres to the Magnolia tree in the garden to take these. And some people just walk straight past this exquisite beauty without even looking.
Is it a flower a fruit or a vegetable? Maybe none. I think it's an alien species masquerading as an Earthling plant, but I suppose that's a bit rich coming from me.
'Toast'
I called this picture Toast because when I showed it to Gerald he went off and had 4 slices of toast. Same for GAT. And Mike, who started shouting 'MUM, CAN I HAVE SOME TOAST?' I thought about selling it to a butter company, but apparently it's been done before.
'The Red and Yellow Divide'
Well, what do you expect if you mix gardening and mathematics?
'Simply Stunning'
No idea what it is, but that it is what it is. It was what it is long before some well-meaning busy-body gave it a name. Or more likely two names - one in Latin and then another not in Latin so normal people could remember what it is. Whatever, I think credit should go to whoever made Earth, that it could produce something like this all on it's own. I'm electro-stunned.
'Unassuming'
I like primroses. They're so unpretentious and well-behaved in crowds - no pushing and shoving or chanting or rude slogans. No taking over like some plant species I know. Jolly good company all around.
